Waterbury Police are asking for public help to locate an individual who was allegedly involved in a hit-and-run this past Saturday, severely injuring a pedestrian.
A little after 2 AM on Saturday, May 22, Waterbury Police responded to a report about a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle in the area of Frost Road and Homestead Ave. Police say they were able to locate a 31-year-old female who was facing serious life threatening visible injuries due to being struck by the vehicle.

The victim was transported to a local hospital and was then transferred to another facility due to the severity of the injuries.

WATERBURY Police are investigating a two-car crash that caused serious injuries to a 65-year-old woman on Stillson Road near the entrance to Walmart Wednesday night.
At about 10 p.m., a 2008 Honda Accord traveling south on Stillson Road struck a 2016 Hyundai Accent, which was stopped at a traffic light facing north on Stillson Road at South Circle, police said. South Circle leads to the Walmart plaza.
Both the Honda and the Hyundai had extensive front end and driver’s side damage, police said.
All three occupants of the Hyundai were hospitalized. The 71-year-old female operator suffered a fractured hand, a 76-year-old passenger suffered a cut to her hand and a 65-year-old female passenger suffered a serious head wound and was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
