Motorcyclist killed in crash on Michigan Boulevard, police asking for video, tips
MICHIGAN CITY, Ind. A motorcyclist was killed and his passenger was injured when the driver lost control after swerving to avoid a car, according to Michigan City Police.
Just before 2 p.m. Tuesday, police were called to E. Michigan Boulevard at Dewey Street for a motorcycle crash.
The driver of the motorcycle, 20-year-old Myles Edson, suffered a severe head injury. He was transported by EMS to the police department to await MedFlight, but died before the helicopter arrived.
Edson’s passenger, a 20-year-old woman, was transported to the hospital with non life-threatening head injuries, reports said.
