Costas Alestas, a 43-year-old school resource officer at East Hills Middle School and soccer coach in Bethlehem, is facing several charges relating to the sexual assault of a 14-year-old student, officials say.
Police believe Alestas' relationship with the 14-year-old girl began in January, but the Bethlehem Area School District did not learn of it until late April.
