As most of you know the nazis fomented the most extensive art fest in history from jews and others as part of the project to eliminate all vestiges of jewish culture and identity. On 10 occasions this museum had the honor of hosting restitution ceremonies where paintings or other artifacts were stolen by the nazis in their collaborators have been returned to the rightful owner. Attorneys office for the Southern District of new york here and we presented sylvie awith a memoir that was stolen by the nazis it was a very moving event and we are proud to build on that with the series.
