39 projects launched in New Brunswick to improve the lives of Canadians as they age
OTTAWA, ON, Feb. 12, 2021 /CNW/ - Canada s population is living longer than ever before, with people over the age of 65 now outnumbering those under 15 years of age. The Governments of Canada and New Brunswick are committed to addressing the needs of this growing and diverse population and to helping Canadians live well as they age.
Today, the Governments of Canada and New Brunswick announced 39 applied research projects under the Healthy Seniors Pilot Project. The projects aim to better support seniors in their homes, communities and care facilities while promoting healthy aging.
