Washington D.C., Feb 19, 2021 / 05:00 pm (CNA).- Planned Parenthood’s annual report once again showed an increase from the previous year in both abortions performed and government funding.
According to its latest annual report, Planned Parenthood performed 354,871 abortions in the 2019-20 fiscal year a 2.7% increase from the 2018-19 year, which was a 3% increase from the year before that.
“Planned Parenthood’s business is abortion, not health care,” said Marjorie Dannenfelser, president of the pro-life Susan B. Anthony List, in response to the report. She noted that the organization’s number of abortions increased “[a]t a time when U.S. abortions overall have long been on the decline.”
