He retired from the army reserve in june of 2017, with the rank of colonel and 35 years of military service. Colonel reynolds deployed three times and commanded the American Forces network in iraq, in baghdad Media Operations and and directed Media Operations and assisted spokesman for commissions at guantanamo bay, cuba and was the chief of Media Operations and a senior spokesman for detention operations at guantanamo.
