A person was found dead inside a car that was submerged in a canal in Tamarac on Monday afternoon, the Broward Sheriff’s Office said. The Broward Sheriff’s Office Dive Team and deputies responded to the call in the area of North University Drive and Southgate Boulevard, along with Coral Springs Fire Rescue, Tamarac Fire Rescue and Coral Springs Police, said Carey Codd, a Sheriff’s Office .
