Agents and deputies discovered 34 firearms and more than 15 pounds of meth at a home in Palmyra in April 2021. (MCSO) They discovered 34 firearms, marijuana, assorted pills, drug paraphernalia, and more than 15 pounds of methamphetamine with a street value of about $190,000. Agents also recovered approximately $72,000 in cash, Brandon said.

A joint effort between the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Crime Suppression Unit and the 19th Judicial District Drug Task Force resulted in the seizure of drugs, guns and $72,000 in cash on Sunday.  While carrying out a search warrant in the 2000 block of Broome Road, agents and deputies discovered more than 15 pounds of methamphetamine with a value of approximately $190,000, according to MCSO spokesperson Sandra Brandon. The bust also discovered 34 firearms, as well as various amounts of marijuana, assorted pills and drug paraphernalia. Agents also recovered about $72,000 in cash during the course of the investigation and arrested two women and a man in connection to the case:

That same day, deputies arrested 37-year-old San Jose resident Alexander Rivas at a different location in San Jose. Upon searching the apartment and two fraudulently purchased vehicles, deputies found an identity theft lab with electronics, victim IDs and a stash of stolen mail from multiple Bay Area counties.
