Motorcyclist killed in serious Niagara County crash identified Police Lights and last updated 2021-05-19 18:50:08-04 TOWN OF CAMBRIA, N.Y. (WKBW) — One person is dead and another was flown to ECMC following a crash involving a motorcycle in Niagara County. The sheriff s office says the crash happened on Ridge Road in the Town of Cambria around 4:30 Tuesday afternoon. Deputies say a 2004 Ford pickup truck heading eastbound was turning left into a private driveway when it hit a 2005 Harley Davidson motorcycle that was traveling west. The driver of the motorcycle, 79-year-old Patrick McDermott of North Tonawanda died at the scene and the passenger on it was taken to ECMC via Mercy Flight. Investigators say the truck driver was not hurt.

Hall County head-on collision leaves two men dead

Updated: 3:52 PM EDT April 24, 2021 HALL COUNTY, Ga. Two men died early Saturday morning in a head-on collision in Hall County, according to the sheriff s office. The Hall County Sheriff s Office said deputies and fire services personnel responded around 2 a.m. to a crash on U.S. 129/Athens Hwy. at Barrett Rd. They said the driver of each vehicle died on scene. They were identified as 25-year-old Marcos Ezequiel Lopez of Gainesville and 42-year-old Toby Langley of Talmo. Both were said to be wearing their seatbelts, and neither had a passenger. According to the preliminary investigation by the Sheriff’s Office Accident Investigation Unit, Lopez was southbound on Athens Highway in a Toyota Corolla. Lopez left his lane, and his car hit Langley’s northbound 2002 Ford Escape head-on, the sheriff s office said.
