they view as a one size fits all approach to professional development. a check the box exercise. we believe teachers need to have the freedom to decide how they can better develop their own talents and become better teachers themselves. dana: what would be an example of that? if you are a math teacher and get one of these voucher, you would be able to do what? you would be able to find a program. maybe your school isn t even aware of it. but a place that s offering development in your school, in your craft, to continue to develop yourself as a teacher or maybe it s not what you re teaching, but better management of your time and your students in the class. whatever is determined to be the thing needed for a teacher. we want them to have the freedom to be able to continue to develop themselves. dana: this sounds like a win-win. what would the opposition be? are there going to be democrats who support this as well? i think democrats should support this.
