of offensive cyber options presented to president biden to respond to the russian invasion, the large-scale invasion in ukraine. and they are they include things like potentially targeting infrastructure in russia. so we re talking about potentially going after sort of the train system. now, we are talking about things that would be temporary. they would not have a long-term or permanent impact on any of these russian capabilities or russian infrastructure. but the fact that the u.s. administration is even considering these options, it was really noteworthy here. the officials we spoke with also made it clear they would want to do something that russia would not feel would have to yield a large response or retaliation. but they are prepared for the e vench wall ti that the u.s. would respond. this has been something the u.s. has concerned for days now and the trip wire would be a
