An interview with Marissa Harrington and Delanti Hall.
News about the Pipeline auditions traveled quickly among the theater majors at Western Michigan University and Hall found himself preparing to land the role in just a few days. Harrington, who is the director, was impressed when Hall and two other WMU theater students came to the audition with their parts almost memorized. She also points out that the playwright took some of her inspiration from real life: Morisseau s mother taught in public schools, like Omari s mother in the play. Morisseau is from Detroit.
