After 50 years of independence, Bangladesh has progressed in many economic and social indicators than Pakistan or even India, supported by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s leadership and her relentless efforts, Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi has said.
“We’ve made more progress in all fronts after 50 years of Liberation. Our foreign exchange reserve is $43 billion whereas it is $24 billion for Pakistan,” he remarked.
“In all economic and social indicators, we’re ahead of Pakistan. In some indicators, we’re even ahead of India. All these have been possible with the capable leadership of Sheikh Hasina and her tireless efforts,” he added.
