with that, got our head down, tried to drill away at this. and we did that. i think that that is what changed. it was the turning point. and indeed it did. i m sure the residents of newark are safer as a result. thank you so much for being here on this saturday morning after accomplishing such a great thing for the folks of newark. mayor of newark, in the great state of the new jersey, thanks for joining me this morning. coming up, the nfl s biggest game of the year is tomorrow. the league still faces a racial reckoning. we ll talk about that, after the break. racial racial reckoning.t heinz knows there sy of magic in all that chaos. so different and so new was like any other. we ll talk about that, after the break. [coughing] birds flyin high, you know how i feel.
about joe biden s record. supported the tough on crime 1994 bill, that it led to mass incarceration. biden shot back that booker was a supporter of stop and frisk as theok mayor of newark and that s when cory booker said this. there was nothing done for the entire eight years he was mayor. if thereht was nothing done to deal with the police department that was corrupt. why did you announce in the first day a zero tolerance policy of stopop and frisk? mr. vice president, there s a thing in my community, you re dipping into kool-aid, you don t even know the flavor. and booker also owns the distinction he was the first person who was interrupted by a protester, something that was a problem throughout the course of the debate last night. it s on like people were shouting about various things as you can hear in this montage.
i hope from the only one of the panel here is heard a shot in the neighborhood this last week. harmeet? the reason i said he was loser on that comment is that h was theor mayor of newark where lived we re all those gunshots were for many years and he didn t point that out. that shows his failure as a leader when he was chief executive there. i think one of the other things that i noticedab about corey booker was i think he held his own against some of the others. he he did better than many of them. but the pandering and the extremism, it did not impress me . i think he comesk out stronger than some of the others. there were a couple of losers. i think that tulsi gabbard really owned tim ryan a process comments about iraq and the war. a think she really showed her military expertise and he looke

interparty politics with a different philosophy. doesn t care what party you long to, so long as you are pro christie. bergen record columnist charlie stile wrote this week, upon assuming office, christie adopted a for me or against me ethos. while many of his policies have been conservative, the way chris christie played politics as governor hasn t been. if you re a democrat and christie believes you re in a position to help him, then that is an alliance chris christie wants to forge. democratic mayor of newark, check. democratic president of the united states, check. democratic state senator, union leader, party boss, check, check, check. governor christie s mo and we have known about it, we sort of have known about it for four years now. something happened this week in the wake of christie s resounding re-election victory that took it to a new level, a new extreme, if you will. his dedication to building alliances of convenience with powerful democrats in new jersey actually led chr
