i mean, with all my heart. but boy, do i want them coming to live with me? hell, no. hell, no. what s been good about you? one of the many good things about you, but your big campaign about gay marriage, i think won you a lot of support from a lot of people in america. are you disappointed that president obama, i know you re a massive fan of and supported hasn t really done that much for gay marriage. well, you know, i m not surprised by it. because, you know, very few presidents can go on and make the change they want to make. and it was very clear that he was conflicted about it. and once he made his decision, he talked to everybody and said, look, i m going to go for it. you know, the guy s got cojones, i have to say. we re going to the generals and we re going to do this. we re going to get rid of the law of don t ask, don t tell because it s hurtful to our citizens.
would be, so on some level the democratic leadership of both the house and senate are very much looking for those signals. you ve got harry reid and dick durbin who are dealing with a very, very aggressive push from the republicans to pass all of the bush tax cuts and extend them after january 1st in their entirety. no cut-up, no up to just a quarter of a million as many in the house believe or no up to a million dollars as chuck schumer of new york has suggested. and then nancy pelosi and steny hoyer in the house have a whole host of things they d like to do including the repealing of don t ask, don t tell, the dream act, and a variety of other things. for republicans, mitch mcconnell on the republican side of the u.s. senate and his top deputy and john boehner and his top deputy in the house, they are trying to politely say to the president that there is really only two things they believe should be done. one, the resolution to keep the government operating after friday when things w
