calistoga. residents have been told to p prepare for a possible evacuation. 115 flights cancelled due in part to reduced visibility from the wildfires there. for more let s check in with dan simon. reporter: this fire is still going. you can see the smoke behind me. this is one small section of this massive wildfire. and the concern is is that is the winds pick up, you could see more devastation. i was in a black hawk helicopter wednesday afternoon and what e we saw was breathtaking. only with that perspective can you appreciate what things look like. home after home, street after street that had been mated. the other thing is how much active flame there still is. that s why authorities are still going door to door trying to evacuate people, making sure people flee the danger. this fire is now the most destructive wildfire in california history.
