women. somehow this godly, honorable, principled, strong leader has been faking being such a man for 40 years. coming up, the latest outcry from the scandal in alabama. also new intrigue in the russia investigation. what happened between jared kushner and a russian banker with powerful ties to the kremlin. making the case, the author of a new bombshell book on why it s quite possible russia just might hold compromising information on president trump. but meantime, new details this hour as calls for roy moore to step down are growing. just a short time ago in birmingham, reverend william barber led a contention of clergy standing against moore. but moore supporters also gathered, much like they have the last two days defending their candidate. moore is accused of sexual misconduct and assault several decades ago. let s go to maya rodriguez joining us from birmingham. we ve got this special election just three weeks away.

section of our country and treasonous acts, you realize that such a monument really doesn t have any place in our society at this day and time. i ve spent some time in birmingham. i know it s a metropolitan city. it s a youthful city. yes. it s a good place to spend time. it s got a great night life. i m wondering what s the discussion like in your city, and are there factions of people who feel strongly about this? are there going to be demonstrations? is there a lot of dissent over this decision? i have not seen that. in fact, as i made my way through the city today, i ve heard nothing but positive comments about it. and let me emphasize we re not in the process of moving the monument. we re looking at how we can tell the true story of what it represents. right now it s a stand-alone item that touts the participation in the civil war. but what people have to
