Clark takes over from company founder Scott Kardenetz, who will assume the role of executive chairman.Â
A former executive at Franklin-based Acadia Healthcare, Clark came to Odyssey last year to oversee operations as the company sought to expand into new markets and diversify clinical offerings. Kardenetz founded the company, which runs 20 behavioral and mental health treatment centers across eight states, in 2015 after a year serving as COO of Nashville-based Haven Behavioral Healthcare.Â
Both previously worked together from 2002 to 2012 at Nashville-based Ardent Health Services and later at Psychiatric Solutions, where Kardenetz served as division vice president and Clark was chief executive officer when the company was bought by UHS.Â
