The 2023 Class B Northern Champions, Nokomis Warrior Softball Team beat the Oceanside Mariners 7-2 in Newport, on Wednesday, April 17th as they began the defense of their title.
The first scrimmage of the 2023 season for the Boothbay Region High School field hockey team was a 9-0 loss at home to the Oceanside Mariners on Thursday, Aug. 24. The Mariners led at halftime, 3-0, and kept Boothbay from mounting very little.
The Nokomis Warrior's bats came alive, scoring 5 runs in the 6th inning, and Mia Coots was nearly perfect on the mound, as the Nokomis Warriors beat the Oceanside Mariners 6-0 on Saturday, May 13th in Rockland, to remain unbeaten.
