BAY MINETTE, Alabama A second suspect has been arrested that investigators say was involved in trying to sneak drugs to a Baldwin County Corrections Center inmate at the courthouse in Bay Minette.
According to a release issued Wednesday, Jan. 20 by the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Department, 27-year-old Alexis Biron of Brewton was arrested in Oceans Springs, Mississippi, after she was spotted driving a vehicle, authorities say, was stolen out of Foley.
Biron, charged with receiving stolen property, is being held in the Jackson County (Mississippi) Detention Center and will be extradited back to Alabama to face charges involving the attempt to introduce narcotics into the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Corrections Center on Jan. 6, according to the release.
