With the weather. Yeah. Drew yes, were talking a lot about that snowmageddon. What are we seeing locally. Yeah. Locally. We have a couple isolated showers left over. The blizzard is over in the sierra. Theyre now cleaning up from it. But here locally, a couple of isolated showers still on live doppler. Seven one crossing through the city and the East Foothills of san jose. We have that rain actually mixing with a little bit of frozen precept in our higher elevation, so were just still unsettled this morning. The showers will wrap up over the next 1 or 2 hours, and much of the day were just cloudy. The snow is wrapping up too, but we have measured the snow in feet. The latest measurements from yesterday had areas in excess of 80in of snow. Well get new measurements this morning, but the blizzard warning it is over. It is cold out there. This morning. Take note of that. Frost advisories are in effect for good reason. Were in the 30s and in the 40s theres that frost advisory until 9 a. M.
Lets start with meteorologist kari hall, tracking the Current Conditions in the sierra. A lot of snow. Its already coming down. Even though were not seeing a lot of really heavy rain in the bay area, as you go up in elevation that snow is dumping down. So were also seeing some thunderstorms developing just to our north, and we will have that chance as we go throughout today, with the waves of rain coming in and making that morning commute very soggy. Here is a look at our stormranger, our mobile doppler radar, where we are seeing the off and on showers moving through the north bay, parts of the peninsula, and right now into the trivalley as well as the south bay. What we can expect throughout the day is some spotty rain, some gusty winds, and a chance of thunderstorms, but ahead for the weekend its going to get even colder, and well have some of the showers continuing through at least sunday, and then, also, the heavy snow, with a blizzard warning now in effect through sunday, with nea
