Storyteller and folklorist Karen “Queen Nur” Abdul-Malik will present a program honoring Juneteenth, a holiday marking the end of slavery in the United States, at the Chris Maloney Lecture Hall in the Ocean City Free Public Library, 1735 Simpson Ave., starting 3 p.m. Sunday.
Allen Associates has donated $5,000 to the Millville High School Class of 2024. For more than 15 years, Allen Associates has provided a donation to the senior class of Millville High School through a partnership with the school PTSA, whose members dedicate the majority of their fundraising efforts to graduating students.
