russians. but just in case it s not okay, i didn t know about it. and that really looks like he s divorcing himself from the three people that we know participated in that meeting, saying, even if they committed a crime, i didn t do anything. and i have to tell you, david, that s very contrary from what prosecutors are used to seeing. obvio often if you have a father and son involved in committing a crime together, the father will offer to plead guilty in exchange for lenience sy for th son. i can t remember a time when i saw a dad completely throw his kid under the bus like this. i want to know how much is this a focus of the investigation that is ongoing. that is, is robert mueller focusing on this meeting that took place in trump tower? just want to get your perspective. we ve talked about the long view here. how much time has elapsed since 2016. i was talking with congressman eric swalwell just a few minutes ago about his effort to get at the truth of what happened there. there s
while meningitis b is uncommon, about 1 in 10 infected will die. like millions of others, your teen may not be vaccinated against meningitis b. meningitis b strikes quickly. be quick to talk to your teen s doctor about a meningitis b vaccine. it was an 11th hour decision, but a federal judge has blocked the online posting of blueprints that allow people to make these 3d guns. but this legal fight is not over, and joining me now is brian claypool, a survivor of the las vegas massacre and jan morgan, a second amendment advocate and a certified firearms instructor. thanks to both of you for being here. brian, look, the las vegas massacre was very recent, obvio obviously. there are so many physical and emotional wounds. what did you think when you heard it was possible to use your 3d printer and create an
including likely the midterms to take place later this year. it s notable because just yesterday the president obvio obviously was pressed at the white house when he was asked specifically whether russia was trying to attack us again and he said no. the white house pushed back and said that was misunderstood by reporters. he was just saying he want nod more questions. but here s more of what nielsen said during our conversation. we have seen other nation states involved in foreign influence. we did not see other nation states involved in the election system meddling. so that was russia? russia was absolutely attempting to interfere in our election systems. the president was asked yesterday if russia is still targeting the united states. a lot of people are concerned about the midterm elections coming up. so i guess a simple question is, is russia still targeting the united states? i think we would be foolish to think they re not. they have capability. they have the will. we s
but, of course, they didn t say that on camera. so why? is it the midterms? exactly. and their own political calculations. president trump is more popular in their states and their districts than they are. so privately they say, i can t believe this, and they would like to be saying more, but they think it would be political suicide to do more. we re told that president trump s cleanup yesterday was aimed at one audience only and that was capitol hill. it started to be some statements. saw leaders mildly stating the obvio obvious, that they believe american intelligence. the main audience for his cleanup act. you see lindsey graham speaking out as well, you can t help but think it s only the jeff flakes of the world, the paul ryans of the world, bob corker s of the world, people with nothing to lose at this point that are being most vocal
thank you both for being here. liz, i want to start with you. because i mean, one thing that stuck out to me is, you know, the the question of whether a special counsel in general is good for the country, has obvio oftentimes bounced back and forth along partisan lines. were you surprised to see some of these conservative members standing up and calling for this? not at all. because what they have been trying to do from the get-go is to protect donald trump at the expense of the rule of law, at the expense of our institutions of justice, so the more mud they can sling, the more confusion they can create, the more they can distract the american people from what s really at stake here, the better off they are. but this is really, to me i served in the house for eight years and i was there during watergate. i mean, to try to obstruct an ongoing investigation is unheard of, and it s outrageous, and it s dangerous to this country. it s dangerous to our democracy. and so i m really, re
