It was the home of the Army War College until World War Two started. And after the war, the Army War College moved up to carlisle, pennsylvania, and president truman and worked hard get the National War College established as a joint college. Its been a partnership primarily between the military and the state department for the last 75 years and we educate senior Lieutenant Colonels and colonels and equivalent in the state Department Intelligence community and other federal agencies in National Security strategy.
