Permit me to begin with the oratorical articulation about issues concerning religion by Sir Arthur Charles Clarke CBE FRAS, an English science-fiction writer, science writer, futurist, inventor, undersea explorer, and television series host. Charles posited: "One of the great tragedies of mankind is that morality has been hijacked by religion. So now people assume that religion and morality have a necessary connection. But the basis of morality is really very simple and doesn't require religion at all."
With the kind of falsehood, deceitfulness and incendiary comments including the so-called movement "Obidients" described as "Headless mob" by Prof Chukwuma Soludo the current Governor of Anambra state - the stage was set for a dangerous precedence.
