The City of Espoo has announced the winner of the Espoo House architectural competition, and it is the Finnish-Danish consortium Cobe + Lundén Architecture Company with their proposal Kohtaamisia. The winning design, which impressed the panel of judges, is a wooden building that will contribute to the future identity of Espoon keskus.
Olli Isotalo, Director of Urban Environment and Chair of the panel of judges, describes the winning proposal as ambitious, individual, and of high-quality in terms of architectural and urban design.
