reporter for u.s. news & world report . david, based on senator lee s comments and others, it sounds like the confirmation hearings will be obamacare on trial. yeah. i think there s no doubt about that. look, i don t actually think kathleen sebelius had to go now. if she was going to leave at any point, you d think she would have left in the fall when they had the rollout problems. i think she wanted to get across the finish line, got to the 7.5 million number and said, you know, now i m out of here. but of course the republicans are going to use these confirmation hearings. i think they know, president obama s going to get his next hhs secretary, but i think not without a lot of painstaking questions about how many people are actually paying the premiums of the sign-ups, what s next for obamacare. and i think the republicans are going to use it to relitigate a lot of the problems and to try to get more answers. so i don t think these are going to be easy confirmation hearings at a
trial if he continues his not guilty plea. he may take a plea trial in this because if he is on video and has previous history, he may take a plea at some point between now and the trial. jon: he says it does not show there was an assault committed or that my client committed it. i think his lawyers making a huge mistake. any jury with a reasonable mind is going to look at this and see a bunch of savages that attack a poor guy in an suv. you know what, all those guys are going down. furthermore, shame on those cops for not pulling out their bad, waving their arms trying to settle this down. i don t know a single police officer that doesn t go anywhere without his badge. this could have been stopped before it escalated. jon: we are going to continue to keep a very close eye on this case.
