New principal appointed at Oasis Academy, Lord s Hill

A SOUTHAMPTON secondary school has welcomed a new principal, with two decades’ worth of experience in the profession. Ben Bond officially took up the post of Principal at Oasis Academy Lord’s Hill this week and is said to to be “eager to continue to build and drive forward the great work already taken place at the academy.” Ben Bond He will join the school, which teaches pupils aged between 11 and16 after a 20 year career in teaching. He graduated from the University of Southampton and has since worked as a senior leader, and most recently a headteacher, in several schools including ten years in two Southampton schools.
