Trot Insider has learned that horseman Rick Zeron will be out of action for an extended period of time after undergoing hip replacement surgery earlier this week.
He practiced there and former Hotel-Dieu Hospital for over 50 years.
I’ve witnessed negativity about closing the old Oakville Hospital where I have family members who reside, but have seen it replaced beautifully with the Oakville-Trafalgar Hospital out at Dundas and Bronte Roads.
It is similar to what we’re hoping to do here. The upgraded equipment and facilities are outstanding and everyone is delighted now.
I pray this will be accomplished here in my lifetime.
