Pg e giving a 48hour notice to some 200,000 customers. 10,000 live in napa county. Nearly 35,000 in zmoema county. 6,500 in san mateo county. We have not decided to shut off power. We will not make that decision until tomorrow midday. The Utility Company got a lot of flack the last time power was shut off. The pg e website was overloaded. And
Last sunday monday that we say were finishing up winter on a warm note, but were going to start spring on a cooler one, last few days of winter have been 70s for us. Lots of sunshine. And today. The very last day of the season is eventually going to bring plenty of sun with it. And another day with some of those 70s that i hope you got a chance to enjoy this weekend. Tomorrow, your first day of spring, just the opposite. We start our downhill slide back into cooler and eventually wetter weather where were sitting right now, the east bay hills getting a few peeks of sunshine, but still pretty clouded out areas that had been foggy this morning are getting increasingly clear as that fog lifts and begins to burn off. Skies are going to be nice and sunny this afternoon and temperatures under all that sunshine will rise really quickly. Were still hanging out in the 40s to 50s right now. Like yesterday starting with those showers and getting to the sunshine during the afternoon where were sitting right now. As you can see, we have a lot of clouds and those active showers moving across the region. Our heaviest of rainfall has now moved out into the Central Valley and up into the sierra foothills and a lot of snow in the sierra itself. So this is one of our last snowy impacts, at least for a little while for a mountainous regions where were sitting in the bay right now, very wettest on the peninsula. As you can see, a lot of green stretching from the Marin Headlands through San Francisco down the peninsula and across our bridges, east bay shoreline and into the south bay. Also looking wet interior east bay. Also on the west side this morning. So just take it. Slow are out there. Roadways are slick for sure. Its lighter rainfall right now. And its something that is going to interrupt your morning commute, especially for the south bay where rainfall has been particularly heavy right now behind me of sfo with the wet tarmac there. Some showers also working their way up the peninsula. Lets get started with this view from the east bay hills with a lot of shower activity pushing through. We are seeing our heaviest of rainfall today potentially down along the Central Coast into southern california. Theres your center of the storm right here. Were tapping into some moisture from it are right here in the bay area just as expected. The storm skirting to the west of us down the coastline of california, bringing with its heaviest potential rainfall this morning. You are seeing some pockets of heavy rain down in the south bay around san jose as well as on over towards saratoga, as well as los gatos right at the intersection of 2. 80. And 85. Very wet, especially for the south bay resulted in and out of issues for neighbors down south while here today, all across the bay area. Were getting those clear views and definitely dry skies. What weve got right now, the Golden Gate Bridge is a little bit of fog trying to form. Thats something you can expect out towards the delta in the south bay, too. Lot of that moisture thats in the soils. Excuse because we really try to form some fog right now as we make our way through the day today, any sort of a remnant moisture that is in Southern California is working its way out bay areas high and dry. Some cool sinking air this morning. Really going to keep us dry, even though that fog is trying to form. We do have a bit of an update for saturday morning. A line of showers pushes through and this one is going to be very brief but will make your saturday morning. A little wet. So want to keep you updated on that. Thats your next chance of rain.
