Connecticut is known for sending shows to Broadway and beyond. Many of them eventually return to the state. Four shows at various theaters around the state in the next few weeks had their world premieres in the Nutmeg State.
Broadway director and Connecticut resident Jack O'Brien is discussing his new book "Jack in the Box: or, How to Goddamn Direct,” a loving guide to the art of directing, at the Waterbury Palace on Saturday.
"Cirque Dreams Holidaze" returns to the Oakdale Theater on Dec. 9 and 10, but it's a very different show than last year, with new sets, music, choreography, themes and 16 circus acts.
