While the Oak Ridge Public Schools Education Foundation (ORPSEF) has paid off its debt for the High School renovation, there is still a long way to go when it comes to paying off the debt the city incurred when the project began back in 2006.
The city is extremely grateful for the $8 million that ORPSEF committed to the costs of this renovation.
“I personally want to thank the Oak Ridge Public Schools Education Foundation for their support towards the Oak Ridge High School (ORHS) renovation completed in 2008,” said Oak Ridge Schools Superintendent Dr. Bruce Borchers. “I am also thankful for their continued support as they truly make a difference in the lives of our students in the Oak Ridge Schools.”
