The Oak Grove Committee of the Whole met Tuesday morning to discuss what the City Council’s top priorities would be when applying for major grant funding.
The Oak Grove City Council met Tuesday night via Zoom and live streamed the meeting to Facebook to vote on a third budget amendment, receive an update on the new fire department building plans as well as to finally receive input from the public.
Tuesday nightâs meeting was the first virtual meeting to include an open session allowing Oak Grove residents to share their concerns or update the council on news, since meetings went almost entirely virtual around March, 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
As for official council business, the council held the first reading of the third budget amendment to the 2021 Fiscal Year budget.
