Author: Jun 28, 2021 With the triple-digit weather and a slippery new turf presenting challenges, University of Washington recruiting targets and hopefuls pushed through it to earn various position MVPs at the Huskies Rising Stars football camp, most notably David Wells.   A wide receiver from Lakes High School in Lakewood, Washington, Wells didn t seem all that bothered by the conditions as he turned in one of the the fastest times with an unofficial 4.46 seconds in the 40-yard dash.

Author: Mar 3, 2021 Having previously enjoyed great success with a preferred walk-on player from Pasadena, California, the University of Washington football program has welcomed another in Alex Froelich, a well-regarded long snapper. On Wednesday, Froelich from Polytechnic School, or simply Poly, tweeted out his intention to join the Huskies this fall  one of nearly a dozen PWOs now dotting the roster. The 6-foot-3, 230-pound Froelich, a two-way tackle for his high school team, is a specialist who hopes to move up the ranks similar to another player without a scholarship from the Rose Bowl city.
