Police Minister Bheki Cele has told members of the South African Police Service (SAPS), redeployed to the Western Cape, that he expects nothing less than results in their crime busting efforts. The national SAPS has roped in about 200 officers, who are sure to be force multipliers in crime hotspots across Cape Town.
Speaking in Belhar on Wednesday, 07 April 2021, Cele said that the new additions could not have come at a better time as the province remains stubborn in violent crime.
