Spruce Street Harbor Park is reopening for the summer season on Friday, May 12, and will remain open through Sept. 24. The seasonal attraction will feature hammock rentals, live music, dedicated family days, craft markets and concessions from boardwalk vendors on Columbus Boulevard. The park's opening coincides with the return of Blue Cross RiverRink Summerfest at nearby Penn's Landing.
Holiday shoppers can browse handmade items, including crafts, cards and prints, as well as gourmet wines and olive oils at the Hyatt Centric Philadelphia hotel's Holiday Makers Market. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 3, and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m on Sunday, Dec. 4. Shoppers can enjoy complimentary hot cocoa from Patchwork. Boozy hot chocolate is available for an additional fee.
