I see another legislative session as ended here in West Virginia. I might have missed it, but I never heard a word or a bill introduced about one of our state s worst problems: the terrible condition of our roads.
Gov. Jim Justice erred in vetoing a bill expanding solar power in West Virginia, but he did the right thing in vetoing one that could have exposed school children to infectious diseases that have almost been wiped out.
He had until midnight Wednesday night to sign or veto the remaining bills passed by the Legislature. There were hundreds of bills under last-minute consideration this week.
