Hazelnuts grow in Oregon’s Willamette Valley. The nut is growing in popularity as a food ingredient. The online meeting is set for Jan. 21.
The Nut Growers Society of Oregon’s virtual winter meeting Jan. 21 will feature discussions on Oregon State University hazelnut research, a hazelnut stewardship program, an update on tariff impacts and other topics.
The live stream will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and will be available to those who’ve renewed their NGS membership for 2021, according to an event flier. The meeting is being held online this year because of coronavirus-related restrictions on public gatherings.
