Srinagar, May 28 (Scoop News)-Pencak Silat District Srinagar Championship 2022-23 is being held in Pologround Indoor Sports Complex Srinagar from 28-29 May 2022. The event sponsored by Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council is being oganised by District Srinagar Pencak Silat Association under the aegis of Pencak Silat Association of J&K.
The event is part of the ongoing special sports initiative My Youth My Pride which has so far brought hundreds of thousands of players under its fold.
Around 285 athletes from different schools and clubs are participating in 4-age groups which includes Pre-teen boys and girls sub junior and junior boys and girls besides senior Men and women players.
Divisional Sports Officer (C) J&K Sports Council, Nusrat Gazala presided over the function as chief guest. While interacting with the players and officials, she said these events go a long way in shaping and securing the athletic career of players.
