Rayin Jordan wins scholarship to study at Kent State
FREMONT Rayin Jordan learned a lot about leadership as a member of the Fremont Ross High School softball and cheer team.
The new graduate was a catcher tasked with handling the high school pitching staff while also providing offense, and will now apply those leadership skills and work ethic to her future career as she enters the nursing program at Kent State University.
Jordan, along with three other students across the country, were chosen for a $2,000 scholarship in partnership with Nurses Against Racism through ShiftMed LLC and HomeCare.com.
