A nurse who has been working on the front lines, helping patients recover from the coronavirus, was just rewarded with a lottery jackpot.
Terri Watkins of Durham, North Carolina, won a $1 million prize in a second-chance drawing. Her ticket was picked from over 513,000 submissions.
Terri, who works at a long-term care facility, explained that she has experienced a lot since all this started and the jackpot is certain to change her life.
While she isn’t sure what she will do with her winnings, she’s considering buying a new house, but wants to take her time and “put it in the right place.”
