Jennifer Comey, 44, formerly of Macedonia, died after a 9-inch-diameter, 20-foot limb fell from an ash tree near the playground area of Slide Hill Park in Davis, California, according to media reports. It was the first of several unusually windy days in the Sacramento region, with winds reportedly gusting 40 to 50 mph in the Davis area.
