CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga, May 19 (PIA) Commission on Higher Education (CHED) recognized Tuesday partners in Central Luzon.

I believe that education could be made a weapon that will wipe out illiteracy as it will flatten poverty. This is probably why De Vera, a cycling enthusiast himself, used his love for cycling in a recent video inviting everyone to support CHED’s “Edutourism: Study in the Philippines Program or StudyPH-Edutourism.”
“We are inviting you to join us in our journey around the Philippines and in spreading to the whole world the Study in the Philippines – Edutourism Program,” said De Vera said in a video posted on the Facebook page of CHED Study in the Philippines Edutourism.

President Duterte placed the Philippines under a state of public health emergency in mid-March to prevent the spread of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) after health authorities confirmed localized transmission of the virus.
The Department of Health (DoH) repeatedly urged the public to avoid crowded places and observe social distancing as among the precautionary strategies against the spread of COVID-19.
As part of this measure, the President decided to suspend classes in areas affected by the outbreak on the first week of the enforcement of an enhanced community quarantine to prevent possible exposure of students to the virus and to contain the spread of the disease.
