Bishop William E. Koenig of Wilmington, Delaware boarded a freighter on the Delaware coast April 5 to celebrate Mass for a crew of Filipino men who, at sea for months and without shore passes, aren t able to attend Mass.
Bishop William E. Koenig of Wilmington, Delaware, celebrated Mass on a refrigerated ocean cargo ship on the Delaware coast. The men travel the world on the cargo ship, working nine months and then having three months off, and some had not been to Mass since New Year's Eve.
