NUECES COUNTY, Texas Nueces County Tax Assessor Kevin Kieschnick said Monday he hopes for the tax, motor vehicle, and voter registration offices to reopen on Monday, Dec. 28 after a coronavirus outbreak shut the departments down.
Kieschnick is hoping to have a handle by then on who s sick and who s clear.
Due to numerous employees sick, Kieschnick said the only option was to shut down until he has a firm grasp on how many are affected and to stop the spread.
