Nuala McLaughlin, 43, had tested positive for Covid-19 in late November.
The mum-of-two from Ballygawley in County Tyrone, a social worker with the Western Trust, passed away on 22 December.
Fr McAnenly is the administrator at St Patrick s Cathedral in Armagh. I have nothing but very fond memories of Nuala over the years, he told BBC Radio Foyle.
She was caring and warm-hearted , qualities, her brother said, that stemmed back to her early years.

A County Armagh priest says he wondered how he would get the grace, the strength to lead Mass at the funeral of his sister who died with Covid-19.
Nuala McLaughlin was a 43-year-old social worker from Ballygawley, County Tyrone, and died in hospital just before Christmas.
Her brother Father Peter McAnenly told his family s story to BBC News NI.
The Western Health and Social Care Trust (WHSCT) are to hold a minute s silence in memory of colleague Nuala McLaughlin, to mark one month since their highly valued team member and friend passed away from Covid-19. Nuala was a highly valued member of our team and, more importantly, our friend and to honour her memory one month on, Nuala’s close colleagues within our Women s and Children’s Directorate invite everyone to share 1 Minute of Silence this Friday 22 January at 3pm, the Trust said on a post on social media. This will be a 1 minute Silence in memory of staff member, Nuala McLaughlin, and as a mark of respect to all staff and families who have lost loved ones to Covid-19 and other illnesses in the past year and who all continue to be in our thoughts.

NUALA McLaughlin was just 43 years old when she succumbed to coronavirus after a courageous four-week battle at the South West Acute Hospital.
But as her big brother Fr Peter McAnenly told her funeral in Ballymacilroy, Co Tyrone on Christmas Eve, she managed to pack an incredible amount into those years and make a lasting impact on countless lives.
Nuala was the second youngest in a family of eight from Glencull and after her schooldays at St Ciaran s College in nearby Ballygawley, she studied social care in Omagh and Derry and completed a degree in social work in Hull.
