Durban surfers hit the waves again after finding âloopholeâ

Durban - Surfers surfed again on Monday morning after surfer Jean-Marc Tostee posted on his Facebook page on Sunday night that surfers should go surfing on Monday morning after nailing âthe final loophole in the lawâ.
Last week Wednesday, Springbok surfers Beyrick de Vries, former captain of the team, and Ntando Msibi as well as attorney Graham Taylor, were among a group of eight local surfers who said they had hired a charter boat to launch at Wilsonâs Wharf and drop them off the coast beyond the shark nets where they surfed at New Pier.
Skipper was granted permission to leave port ahead of surfersâ protest

Durban - THE skipper of the boat that transported eight surfers to the surf for a protest said she had asked and was given permission to leave the harbour.
This comes after metro police spokesperson Senior Superintendent Parboo Sewpersad was quoted as saying âit was found that the skipper did not get the port officerâs permission before leavingâ.
