Senior state prosecutor Billy Downer and journalist Karyn Maughan were spared the indignity of sitting in the dock on Wednesday when former president Jacob Zuma’s private prosecution against them was back in court.
Case adjourned to April next year to finalise the former president’s appeals against rulings that his case is an abuse, though the parties won’t need to be in court
