(CNA photo) TAIPEI (Taiwan News) The Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) on Monday (May 10) announced three new domestic COVID-19 cases, one case under investigation, and 11 that were imported. During a press conference on Monday, Health and Welfare Minister and CECC head Chen Shih-chung (陳時中) announced three local COVID-19 cases, 11 imported cases, and one case whose details are currently being investigated. The three latest local cases include a shuttle bus driver and two family members of an earlier confirmed case, while the source of the infection of a China Airlines pilot has yet to be determined.

Taipei, May 10 (CNA) Taiwan on Monday reported four more COVID-19 cases linked to China Airlines (CAL) and the Novotel airport hotel in Taoyuan, bringing the number of cases linked to the two entities to 35, according to the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC).
One of the four cases is a Taiwanese man in his 40s who works as a driver at the Novotel Taipei Taoyuan International Airport hotel.
After the first COVID-19 case at the hotel was reported on April 29, he was sent to quarantine at a government-run center. A COVID-19 test he took that day came back negative, the CECC said.

TAIPEI, May 10 (Xinhua) Taiwan on Monday reported four new COVID-19 cases associated with a cluster involving Taiwan-based China Airlines cargo pilots and Novotel Taipei Taoyuan International Airport hotel employees, bringing the total number of infections to 35. The latest cases include a China Airlines pilot, a shuttle bus driver and two family members of an earlier confirmed case, said the local disease monitoring agency. Taiwan also reported 11 new imported COVID-19 cases from the Philippines, Syria, India and Indonesia on Monday. The total number of confirmed cases on the island has risen to 1,199, including 12 deaths, the agency said.
